Air Fryer Italian Baked Stuffed Shells

Delicious Air Fryer Italian Baked Stuffed Shells filled with turkey bacon and cheese, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, turkey bacon, basil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the air fryer basket, then place the stuffed shells on top.
  6. Top the shells with remaining marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
  • Use gluten-free pasta shells for a gluten-free version of this recipe.
