  • 1/2 cup crème fraîche

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  2. Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  4. Cook the soaked brioche slices until golden brown on both sides.
  5. For the blueberry compote, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  6. Serve the French toast topped with blueberry compote and a dollop of crème fraîche.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, increase the sugar in the egg mixture.
  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh are unavailable.
