Caramelized Honey & Pistachio Fig Tarte Tatin

A delightful dessert that combines the rich flavors of caramelized honey, crunchy pistachios, and sweet figs in a classic Tarte Tatin recipe.

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 6 fresh figs, halved
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and add honey to caramelize.
  3. Add the figs and cook for a few minutes until tender.
  4. Stir in the chopped pistachios and remove from heat.
  5. Transfer the fig mixture to a tart pan.
  6. Cover with puff pastry, tucking the edges in.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before inverting onto a plate.
