Cheesy Spinach Delight Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large pasta shells
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese and spinach mixture.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamy version, add cream cheese to the cheese mixture.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
