Chicken and Wonton Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add chicken breast and cook until fully cooked, about 15 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken, shred it, and set aside.
  4. Add wonton wrappers and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in spinach, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, green onions, and garlic.
  6. Add shredded chicken back to the pot and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.

  • For extra flavor, add chili oil or hot sauce.
  • Use homemade broth for a richer taste.
