Chinese Beef and Broccoli

This dish is a delightful combination of tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger.
  3. Add beef to the pan and cook until browned.
  4. Add broccoli and beef broth, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender.
  5. Serve hot over rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sesame oil before serving.
