  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh raspberries.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Let the cupcakes cool before frosting.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Garnish with additional raspberries on top of the frosting.
