  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Roll dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Make a small indentation in the center of each ball.
  7. Bake for about 12 minutes, then remove from oven.
  8. Let them cool completely before filling the indentations with chocolate chips melted.

Notes

  • For a richer filling, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking for more structure.
