  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Mix in baking soda and salt.
  4. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, then stir in the flour.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Pour half of the banana batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
  8. Spread the remaining banana batter on top, followed by the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before slicing.
