  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the oil, eggs, grated carrots, and crushed pineapple.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before frosting with cream cheese frosting.

Notes
