- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
- Add olive oil to the skillet, then sauté mushrooms until browned. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked fettuccine and turkey bacon to the skillet, tossing to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and stir in fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
