Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

A delicious and comforting crockpot recipe that combines pierogi and kielbasa for an easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen pierogi
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half of the sliced kielbasa and half of the chopped onion.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor.
