Easy Mongolian Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and green onions.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch to create the sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and bake for 20 minutes, until cooked through.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the meatballs for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Serve over rice for a complete meal.
