Easy Mongolian Meatballs

Delicious and easy Mongolian meatballs made with a twist of turkey bacon for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped turkey bacon, green onions, and minced garlic.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar together.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over the meatballs.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the meatball mixture.
  • These meatballs can also be cooked in a skillet if preferred.
