French Onion Chicken Orzo Casserole

A delicious and comforting casserole combining the flavors of French onion soup and chicken with orzo pasta.

  • 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, French onion soup, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
