This Funfetti Layer Cake is perfect for any celebration, combining sweetness and fun in every layer.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until combined.
  5. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the sprinkles gently.
  7. Divide the batter evenly between prepared cake pans.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
