- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 4 ounces chicken ham
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and crumble it.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the chicken ham and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, stirring until the cheese has melted.
- Mix in the cooked penne pasta and crumbled turkey bacon. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
