  • 4 ounces pâté
  • 10 slices prosciutto
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear in a hot pan for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Remove the beef and let it cool, then brush with Dijon mustard.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the mushrooms until moisture evaporates, then let cool.
  5. Layer prosciutto on a sheet of plastic wrap, top with mushrooms, and then place the beef on top.
  6. Roll tightly and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  7. Roll out the puff pastry, wrap around the beef, and seal the edges.
  8. Brush with the beaten egg, cut slits on top for ventilation, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
