  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, diced
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 tablespoons flour (for gravy)
  • 2 cups milk (for gravy)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add milk and stir until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out and cut into biscuits, then place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, remove and chop.
  9. Add diced chicken ham to the skillet, cook for a few minutes.
  10. Sprinkle flour into the skillet, stirring constantly.
  11. Gradually add milk and cook until thickened.
  12. Add black pepper and bacon back to the gravy.
  13. Serve the biscuits warm, topped with gravy.

Notes

  • For fluffier biscuits, handle the dough as little as possible.
  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon.
