  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pastry cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  7. Once cooled, fill each cupcake with pastry cream using a piping bag.
  8. Top with chocolate ganache and let set.
