Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 cups assorted fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat.
  2. Add lemon juice and thyme to the syrup. Let it cool completely.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove thyme leaves.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Transfer sorbet to a container and freeze until firm.
  6. Serve the sorbet topped with fresh berries.
