- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add butter and sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add macaroni and cook until al dente.
- Lower the heat and stir in milk, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika until the cheese melts.
- Crumble the cooked bacon and stir back into the soup. Serve warm.
