- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
- Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for at least 1 hour.
- Drain the rice and steam it in a steamer lined with cheesecloth for about 25-30 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and mix in 1 cup of the coconut mixture. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
