Melt-In-Your-Mouth Italian Meatballs are a delightful dish featuring turkey bacon for an extra touch of flavor.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey bacon, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. In the last 5 minutes of baking, pour marinara sauce over the meatballs and return to the oven.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the meatball mixture sit for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Serve with pasta for a complete meal.
