Mom’s Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

A delicious creamy fettuccine alfredo with a twist of turkey bacon, perfect for family dinners.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add chopped turkey bacon and garlic; cook until bacon is crispy.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared with regular bacon instead of turkey bacon, if preferred.
  • For a healthier option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
