One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A delicious one-pan recipe that combines tender chicken with buttery noodles for a comforting meal.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides.
  2. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Return chicken to skillet.
  4. Stir in the Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken again and keep warm. Add egg noodles to the skillet and cook according to package instructions.
  6. Once noodles are done, add chicken back to the skillet, stir to combine, and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can marinate the chicken in Italian dressing before cooking.
