A delicious summer dessert that combines the flavors of orange and creamy vanilla in a refreshing ice cream cake.

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pint orange sherbet
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, using orange juice instead of water.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. Once cooled, layer vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet on top of the cake, spreading evenly.
  6. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle orange zest on top.
  7. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
