Parmesan and Rosemary Pizza

A delightful homemade pizza topped with the rich flavors of Parmesan cheese and aromatic rosemary.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Spread tomato sauce over the dough, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with rosemary and black pepper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use fresh mozzarella along with Parmesan.
