Pineapple Chicken Wings, Baked, Air Fryer or BBQ

Deliciously juicy chicken wings with a tropical twist, perfect for baking, air frying, or grilling on the BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Add chicken wings and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. If baking, spread wings on a lined baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  5. If using an air fryer, place wings in the basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. For BBQ, grill wings over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  7. Serve hot with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let wings marinate overnight.
  • Adjust honey for desired sweetness.
