Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice

A delicious and innovative appetizer that combines spicy tuna with crispy rice.

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 pound fresh tuna, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup furikake
  • 1/2 cup tempura flakes
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix diced tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and chopped green onions.
  3. Form cooled sushi rice into small rectangles.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the rice rectangles until golden brown.
  5. Top each crispy rice piece with the spicy tuna mixture.
  6. Garnish with avocado slices and tempura flakes. Sprinkle furikake on top before serving.
