  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the coffee, water, and sugar in a cezve (Turkish coffee pot).
  2. Place the cezve over low heat and allow the coffee to slowly come to a boil.
  3. When it starts to foam, remove it from heat and let it settle.
  4. Return it to heat and repeat the foam process two more times.
  5. Pour the coffee into a cup, letting the grounds settle before drinking.
