- 2 cups shredded zucchini
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound ground turkey or beef (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened.
- If using, add ground turkey or beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in shredded zucchini, pizza sauce, olives, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the meat.
