  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 8 corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  3. Dip each fish fillet in the egg, then coat with the flour mixture, followed by breadcrumbs.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. In a bowl, combine lime juice, shredded cabbage, cilantro, and mayonnaise for the slaw.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing crispy fish on tortillas, topping with slaw and avocado slices.
  8. Serve immediately.
