  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
