This salmon marinade offers a simple yet delicious way to prepare salmon fillets that are juicy and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, honey, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  5. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  6. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  7. Grill or bake the salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 5-7 minutes per side depending on thickness.
  8. Serve immediately.
